Drawing For Beginners: Learning to See (4 week Studio Class)

Students explore drawing issues including line quality, light and shade, rendering of form, composition, surface manipulation, the illusion of depth and mark making through a variety of mediums. This class is designed to train one’s brain to “see as an artist” by familiarizing students with the ability to render 3 dimensional objects on a 2 dimensional surface accurately and develop compositional elegance.
